We run a tight ship, and we respect your time. That means we reserve a specific time slot for you to be seen for a consultation, surgery, or post-operative visit, and we make it a priority to stick to that schedule. You can help us by being on time for your appointment and having as much paperwork done ahead of time as possible. We understand life happens. If you find you are running behind, please let us know so we can make adjustments to better accommodate you and our other patients.
Occasionally, unforeseen events will cause some delay: special scheduling needs that day, a computer/X-ray malfunction, or a consultation or surgery may take longer than anticipated. We know how that feels, and we will make every effort to keep you as up-to-date as possible as early as possible so you can plan accordingly.
We understand emergencies — and pain! Almost always, if your doctor has sent you to us for emergency treatment, we will work you into our schedule that same day. Remember, other patients are already expecting to be seen at their scheduled appointment time, and we need to respect our agreement with them. Therefore, your patience is necessary for emergency care to work well for you and for us. Remember: we WILL take care of you.
If you do need to cancel an appointment, please be courteous and make every effort to give us at least 24 hours to adjust that valuable time slot we have reserved just for you. We appreciate you respecting our time and effort to help things run as smoothly as possible for you at your visit.
